I’m Adenuga Abisola, and I also go by the stage name Abisolas Music. I am a performing and recording artiste, I play the saxophone.
My style of music is smooth jazz with a fusion of afrobeats. I’m also vastly interested in Nigerian contemporary music.
Music is a way I express myself; it’s a voice and also a tool I use to connect with my audience. I do not only want to share my story; I also want to reflect on my culture and heritage through my music.
I have a unique perspective on music, and that’s what drives me to want to create my own version and my original tracks to share with the world.
The goal of my music is to fuse African folk music (afrobeat) with contemporary jazz music and smooth jazz, a rare and unique style of music. I’m inspired by listening to soulful music. A few artists I draw inspiration from are Dave Koz, Paul Taylor, Asa, Donald Hayes, Beautiful Nubia, Adekunle Gold, Teni, Ariana Stanberry (Tru), BNXN, Jerry Omole, and myself, Abisola.
About The Project
My project is my EP titled “The Journey”. This playlist would have four songs. It would be my first time actualizing my dream of being a published artiste. To make this reality, I would gear up with some gadgets to expand my creativity and hire a producer and other musicians to join in the production process of the EP.
The funding will also cover distribution and marketing.
This would be a major breakthrough for me in my journey as a musician, and I would need you to make this a reality.
This project will be the first of its kind and a milestone in my career as a musician.
