I am Chyke Martins, a graduate of Music who plays the Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Igbo Flute, and all instruments that require the use of the nose and the mouth. I am a Music Producer, an Artiste and a music composer and arranger.
I started music when I was in junior high school with playing the trumpet, then I moved to the saxophone. In 2012, I began music professionally working with some music artists and producers. I have played in major concerts and worked with many world class amazing musicians. I have a solo album and a collaborative EP project with some of my friends.
About The Project
I am working on a new project, my second studio album titled “Twilight“, which demonstrates the different experiences I have had over the years playing music with different people. With enough support, I would be able to use this project to transform the face of saxophone playing in Nigeria and across the world.
I am extremely passionate and soulful, which of course reflects in my work with many soulful melodies and songs. I believe that we are all connected in the circle of life. I know I am meant to do music. It is something I do not take for granted.
