I am NeyoSlim, a music lover, writer, performer, multi-instrumentalist (particularly dexterous with the guitar), and a music producer. I grew up around music and listening to a wide array of various genres of music such as Highlife, Afro, Jazz and so on.

My genre of music is a fusion of Folk, Soul, Afro-Jazz, and Alternative music.

 

I draw motivation from musicians such as Brymo, Femi Leye, Asa, The CaveMen, Sound Sultan, and other great musicians who have all influenced my style of music and my desire to do good music.

About The Project

I am currently working on my first EP called “HOPE“. The EP consists of a blend of smooth Jazz, Soul, and a host of other therapeutic tunes and melodies which soothe the soul.

The inspiration to record this EP was borne after I won the battle against cancer in 2017.

I had a very close shave with death. The near-death experience taught me a valuable lesson; not to lose hope even in my darkest and most hopeless moments.

This project is to encourage people going through difficult times, that there is always hope, once there is life.

I thereby seek funds for the project to help with promotional activities such as video shooting, marketing, and music productions.

I believe music is a medicine that heals a wounded soul and a lot of persons find solace in it.

I want to be an anchor of hope.
