“BabaO, aka Xcobar, is a rare gem and an extremely creative individual currently struggling financially to pitch his music to the right audience.”
After spending over a decade underground harnessing and perfecting my craft, I believe my time is now, especially now that Nigerian and African music are doing great numbers globally. My goal for this project is to break barriers between artist (me) and audience, bringing people together through a shared love for music.
About The Project
As a struggling underground artist, I’m writing this to request your funding and support for a very unique experience, the “Xcobar Szn” campus tour project, that I’ve been dreaming of my entire life. I believe that this project has the potential to showcase my talent and connect with my audience in a way that has never been done before.
The tour will be a series of concerts performed on college campuses across the country, with an emphasis on engaging with students and promoting a sense of community through my music. Each show will be a combination of live performances, audience interaction, and multimedia elements that will create an unforgettable experience.
The funding for this project will be used to cover expenses such as equipment rentals, travel, accommodation, and venue fees. As an underground artist, I don’t have access to significant financial resources, so any contribution would go a long way toward making my dream a reality.
