Mixing and mastering engineer, producer, artist, content creator and singer, Osadebey talked with Back My Work about his music journey.
The multi talented producer said he got inspired to start doing loops, which are repeated sections of sound material, after watching one of Tim Godfrey’s live performances. He was blown away by the production done by SMJ, Godfrey’s producer at the time and decided right away to emulate that.
Osadebey has worked with many other talented artists like Swiss A Fox, Nevy, Manny, Naffymar, and Brainee. He talked about a Christmas song ‘Adore Him’ which he performed with Naffymar, a friend of his and a fellow artiste. ‘Adore Him’ was played on BBC One Extra in England.
Speaking about what he enjoys most about production, Osadebey said ‘What I enjoy the most about production is the fact that you go into a room sometimes with an expectation and the music just leads you’.
At the moment, Osadebey is working on getting better equipment to improve his production sound. He is also working on a five-track E.P. with some of his friends who are talented underground artistes.
He features them on the E.P as artistes, while he produces the beats along with mixing and mastering.
